Melted Crayon Art

I really love this one! Such a great way to recycle all the ends of those unwanted crayons. This is also a great craft for just adults because you can make cute card stock for cards, gift tags, scrapbooking, etc.

For this craft you'll need old crayons, a cheese grater, parchment paper and an iron.

*Kiddos can help with the crayon grating but adults only for the ironing pls!

  1. Unwrap all of your old unwanted crayons and grate them over (with a cheese grater) a blank white paper. You can do a color scheme or just do a random mix of colors (the more colors the more fun!).

  2. Then you're going to put parchment paper (not wax paper) on top and iron on low heat. Just iron quickly over and don't hover too long. You can do this on an ironing board or heat resistant surface (I used my kitchen countertop).

  3. And that's it! Allow it to cool down and then you can cut it into desired shapes if you'd like!
